It’s that time of year again! The Pictures with Pennywise fundraiser for Soul Dancers is back. This Halloween, Monday, October 31st between 3:30-5:30, we’ll be located in the alley between Avanti and Schuuz with Pennywise the clown! If you’re brave enough, come get your picture taken with Pennywise in exchange for a donation to Soul Dancers.
Last year, in 2021, we were able to raise $788.55 with your help for Soul Dancers! That’s 788 dance classes for a child or 52 classes for 15 children. We are so grateful for all the support we received for this fundraiser.
Soul Dancers is a charity in Medellin, Colombia that provides dance classes, English lessons and support to underprivileged youth in the community. Soul Dancers began when our president was in Medellin, Colombia, establishing the manufacturing facility for Limelight Teamwear. He saw the poverty and wanted to do his part to bring joy to as many underprivileged youth as he could. Soul Dancers have since changed the lives of so many in the most positive way. A few children who were initially taking free dance classes with Soul Dancers are now teachers working for the charity.
