We want to start by saying thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your studio apparel, team looks, costumes, competition-season planning, and the pieces your dancers wear with pride. We know that what your dancers wear matters. It represents your studio, your team culture, your choreography, and the community you have built.
We are truly grateful to be part of that.
Over the past year, Limelight has experienced incredible growth. With that growth has come exciting opportunities, but also the need to make thoughtful changes so we can continue to serve you with the quality, care, creativity, and support you deserve.
Some of these changes may feel like a shift, and we understand that not every update will be ideal for every studio. Please know that each decision is being made with the long-term goal of creating a stronger, more reliable, more creative Limelight for the studios and dancers we are so lucky to work with.
Beginning July 15, you will notice the following updates.
Updated Product Minimums
To help streamline production, improve efficiency, and allow us to deliver orders in a more timely and consistent manner, our product minimums will be changing:
- All jacket styles will have a minimum of 5 pieces
- All other teamwear items will have a minimum of 10 pieces
This change will help us better manage production, improve efficiency, and continue offering the level of quality and service we are committed to providing.
We understand there may be times when smaller quantities are needed, and we recognize that this may be an adjustment for some studios. However, as we continue to grow, this step is necessary to help protect production timelines, support quality control, and ensure we can serve our clients well throughout the season.
Product Collection Refresh
For years, we have shared that we do not discontinue products. That was something that made Limelight unique and allowed studios to return to familiar pieces season after season.
At the same time, styles evolve, the needs of dancers evolve, and so do we.
Many of you have asked for fresh, updated, modern styles, and we want to be able to bring those to you. In order to make room for new products and better options, we will be retiring select pieces from our collection.
We remain committed to keeping our core products available whenever possible, unless we find better options that will serve dancers and teams more effectively.
Throughout July, you will see some products retire, and new products join the Limelight collection.
The retiring/discontinued products listed below will be available to order until July 15, 2026, or while supplies last — whichever comes first.

Our 2026–2027 product list and pricing will be available July 15, 2026 by reaching out to info@limelightteamwear.com. Please note that this information will only be provided to verified team owners.
Team Shop Adjustments
As we move into the new season, Team Shops will also see some adjustments.
We are still working through the details, but with the new minimums being introduced, Team Shop products will also be required to meet the applicable minimums before moving into production. Jacket styles will need to reach a minimum of 5 pieces, and all other teamwear products will need to reach a minimum of 10 pieces.
We know Team Shops are an important tool for many studios, and we are also looking at ways to better assist team owners with the distribution of Team Shop orders. We understand that organizing and distributing orders can take time, and we are exploring options that may help make this part of the process easier in the future.
More details will be shared as soon as they are finalized. For now, Team Shops will continue to be used in the same way until further notice.
Limited Edition Drops
We are also excited to introduce special, limited-time product drops throughout the year.
These drops will give studios access to unique, dancer-focused products at key points in the season. Our goal is to create pieces that feel fresh, useful, exciting, and aligned with what dancers actually need and love throughout the year.
Think competition travel, studio spirit, dancer lifestyle, seasonal pieces, and special collections that help your team stand out.
A New Community Initiative
One of the things we are most excited about is bringing a stronger community aspect into the Limelight brand.
This September, we will be asking our community to help us select a charity to support for the year. The charities included in the vote will all connect back to the dance community or to the well-being of children and teens.
There are more exciting details to come, but our hope is to create something meaningful that studios, dancers, and families can be part of together.
We believe it is powerful when young people have the opportunity to get involved in something bigger than themselves. Dance already teaches teamwork, confidence, resilience, kindness, and community, and we are excited to build an initiative that reflects those values.
