We want to start by saying thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your studio apparel, team looks, costumes, competition-season planning, and the pieces your dancers wear with pride. We know that what your dancers wear matters because it represents your studio, your team culture, your choreography, and the community you have built. Consequently, we are truly grateful to be part of your journey.
Over the past year, Limelight has experienced incredible growth. While this growth brings exciting opportunities, it also creates the need to make thoughtful changes so we can continue to serve you with the quality, care, creativity, and support you deserve.
Some of these updates may feel like a shift, and we understand that not every change will suit every studio. However, we are making each decision with the long-term goal of building a stronger, more reliable, and more creative Limelight for the studios and dancers we love working with.
Beginning July 15, you will notice the following updates.
Updated Product Minimums
To help streamline production, improve efficiency, and deliver orders in a more timely manner, we are updating our product minimums:

All jacket styles will have a minimum of 5 pieces.

All other teamwear items will have a minimum of 10 pieces.
Ultimately, these adjustments allow us to manage production schedules effectively while maintaining the high quality and service you expect from us.
We understand that you may occasionally need smaller quantities, so this policy might require an adjustment for some studios. Nevertheless, as we continue to expand, this step remains necessary to protect production timelines, enforce quality control, and serve our clients reliably throughout the season.
Product Collection Refresh
For years, we proudly shared that we do not discontinue products. That policy made Limelight unique and allowed studios to reorder familiar pieces season after season.
At the same time, styles evolve, dancer needs change, and our brand must grow alongside you.
Many of you have asked for fresh, modern styles, and we want to bring those ideas to life. Therefore, to make room for innovative products and better apparel options, we will retire select pieces from our collection.
However, we remain committed to keeping our core products available whenever possible, unless we find superior options that serve dancers and teams more effectively.
Throughout July, you will see some products retire as new items join the Limelight lineup. The retiring items will remain available to order until July 15, 2026, or while supplies last.

Team Shop Adjustments
As we move into the new season, we are also making adjustments to our Team Shops.
While we are still finalizing the details, the new product minimums will also apply to Team Shop orders before they move into production. Consequently, jacket styles must reach 5 pieces, and all other teamwear products must reach 10 pieces.
We know Team Shops serve as an important tool for many studios. Therefore, we are actively exploring new ways to assist team owners with order distribution. Because organizing and sorting gear takes valuable time, we want to make this process much easier for you in the future.
We will share more details as soon as they are ready. Meanwhile, Team Shops will continue operating as usual until further notice.
Limited Edition Drops
Additionally, we are excited to introduce special, limited-time product drops throughout the year!
These exclusive drops will give studios access to unique, dancer-focused apparel at key points in the season. Our goal is to design fresh, functional pieces that align with what dancers actually need and love.
For instance, you can expect special drops focused on competition travel, studio spirit, seasonal themes, and lifestyle collections that help your team stand out.
A New Community Initiative
Most importantly, we are thrilled to bring a stronger community aspect to the Limelight brand.
This September, we will invite our community to help us select a featured charity for the year. Each nominated charity will directly support the dance community or the health and well-being of youth.
Although we have more details coming soon, our hope is to create a meaningful movement that studios, dancers, and families can build together.
We firmly believe in empowering young people to support causes bigger than themselves. Because dance already teaches teamwork, confidence, resilience, and kindness, we are excited to launch an initiative that reflects those core values.

Furthermore, we will keep innovating fresh styles while supporting your dance studio with creativity and care.
