The first step is selecting the product style you would like to customize. From there, you’ll complete our branding information and design intake form so we can learn more about your studio, your team, and the look you want to create.

Our team uses this information to understand your vision, colours, branding, and overall style before beginning the design process, helping us create custom apparel that feels polished, personal, and true to your studio identity.

In order to create our fully custom garments we use a printing process called dye-sublimation. Our garments start out in a solid white fabric. Once your design is completed it is then printed onto special transfer paper. We then use a heat press to transfer the ink on the paper to the garment we are creating.  You can check our dye-sublimation video for a better understanding.

Our standard production timeline is an estimated 6–8 weeks. During peak season, which usually runs from the end of August through February, production may take up to 8–10 weeks.

Because timelines can vary based on current order volume and the time of year, we recommend checking with your Limelight Teamwear Specialist for the most current production timeline before placing your order.

As of July 15, 2026, all custom team jackets will have a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces per design. All other custom teamwear products will have a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces per design.

We are proud to continue offering low minimums designed to support studios of all sizes, making it easier to create polished, custom teamwear without overwhelming order quantities.

To ensure a perfect fit, Limelight offers Sizer Sets for rent. This allows dancers of all ages to try on actual garments, which, combined with our digital size charts, eliminates the risk of incorrect sizing for large teams.

Yes! We have a newly expanded colour chart with over 500 colours to choose from, making it easier to create a custom teamwear look that feels true to your studio’s identity.

If you do not see the exact colour you are looking for, your Limelight Teamwear Specialist will be happy to help guide you through the custom color process so your final design feels polished, cohesive, and unmistakably yours.

We offer a variety of high-end finishes including sublimation, embroidery, direct to film, screen printing, and glitter. Our design team will recommend the best method based on your logo’s complexity and the style of your chosen garment.

Yes, individual names can be added to select custom teamwear and accessories for a $10 fee/name.

Yes. Limelight Teamwear can set up a customized Online Team Store for your studio. This allows parents to visit the team shop, select their sizes, and pay directly. This feature removes the administrative burden of collecting payments and tracking individual sizes from the studio owner or club manager.  All team shop orders are sent collectively to the studio for distribution

At Limelight Teamwear, we ship to dance studios and gymnastics clubs across both the United States and Canada with shipping fees calculated at checkout. Since we handle the logistics of crossing the border, you can shop with confidence knowing there are no duties or surprise brokerage fees on your orders. Whether you are in Toronto or Texas, the price you see is what you pay, ensuring your team gear arrives safely and affordably.

Because Limelight custom teamwear is uniquely manufactured to match your studio’s specific vision, we do not accept returns on personalized or custom-designed apparel. We take pride in our Quality Guarantee, ensuring every custom jacket and piece meets our high standards before it reaches your team.

You are able to add individual names to our Evolution and Onyx Collection jackets, as well as bags and Warm-up Booties.

Names are $10 extra per item.  You can have a mixture of names and no names on items, within the same order.

We offer child 4 to adult XXL on most products and up to XXXL on selected jackets.
