It all began with a “Dance Dad” who recognized during those long hours of adjudications that the industry needed something vastly different and fashionable to represent their studios and teams.
Starting out as an inspiration to produce a fashionable, innovative team wear collection to address the needs of his daughter and teammates, the business grew from there, and Limelight Teamwear was born.

Since then, our innovations have truly revolutionized team apparel for the dance and gymnastics industries. Limelight Teamwear has now been an industry leader in producing premium, fashion-forward custom team apparel with cutting edge designs and styles for the dance, cheer and gymnastics industry for over seven years. We started off producing custom dance jackets, but have since evolved leaps and bounds, changing the practice wear game by revolutionizing the way people see team apparel, through custom dye-sublimation.

A Dance Movement
Perhaps the innovation for which we are most grateful is Soul Dancers. Launched by Limelight’s founder, that same dance Dad, Soul Dancers helps impoverished women and children around the world get better nutrition, education, and dance lessons too!
What started from a desire to give back to those who are less fortunate, Limelight’s founder, Steve Park, launched Soul Dancers – a non-profit charity where virtually 95 per cent of donations are given directly to children in need. Through our loyal clients, Limelight donates $2 for every jacket sold right back to the charity. To-date, proudly over 300 orphaned or impoverished children in Colombia receive two-hour dance lessons or English lessons every week. We are changing the world, one pirouette at a time.
